UKCPVS Diversification Scheme for Barley Powdery Mildew 2010

Use the tables below to determine the risk of powdery mildew spreading from one barley variety to another.

STEP 1: Choose your first variety from the table of varieties (e.g. NFC-Tipple). This variety is in DG1.

STEP 2: Choose the companion variety (e.g.Saffron). This variety is  in DG10.

STEP 3: Look at the diversification table for DG1:DG10 The risk of powdery mildew spreading between these two varieties is low
