The Impact Of Climate Change On Pests, Weeds And Diseases In Scotland

Changes in our climate will have an impact on the pests, weeds and diseases which affect our crops.

This campaign highlights how recent changes in the climate have changed the incidence and severity of some weed, pest and disease outbreaks.

It will focus on black grass, wheat bulb fly and common eyespot, but will remain flexible to allow other outbreaks to be included.

The campaign will highlight a range of issues to growers, including a greater awareness of the problems, identification, sampling and methods of integrated control.
