General Description

Small chocolate coloured spots appear on the leaves following warm humid weather around flowering time.

Later stages of disease development can cause complete defoliation of the crop. Stems and pods can also become blackened.

Advice

Protect crops at early flower if the disease is seen. In drier seasosns, protect the crop at mid flower. Eradication of the disease is a challenge. Most losses can be found in organic crops. Unfortunatley most varieties are susceptible.
