Ladybird
Coccinellidae
General Description
Ladybirds are a popular beetle in fields, since the adults and the larvae eat large numbers of aphids.
As with any other predator, they do require a small population of their food supply to ensure a healthy population.
The adults have a bright red body with black symmetrically spaced spots.
