Adopt A Crop
SAC has monitored commercial crops for pests weeds and diseases since 1983. The information provides a unique picture of the major issues affecting crops duirng the current season and also historically. You can access the database through the link on this page to view both crop development and crop health both today and also in the past.
The infomation shows crop development has changed and at certain periods, crops are 2-4 weeks earlier compared to 20 years ago. This has impacts on the development of disease and is one reason why ramularia may be of greater importance today compared to 20 years ago.
