A session in the morning will look at understanding how renewables work, installing and funding for renewables, what is available, and generating returns from renewables. http://www.sac.ac.uk/climatechange/farmingforabetterclimate/newsandevents/events/onfarmrenewables
Speakers include Maitland Mackie, Ian Cowe, Forestry Commission, Simon Munro, Logan Project Management, and David Ross, SAC. The day will also include looking at, and discussing, Glensaugh's 50Kw wind turbine and biomass boiler.

The cost is £40+VAT for primary food producers, £60+VAT for other interested parties. Land managers, farmers and agents working in the Cairngorms National Park may be eligible for up to 50% support of the cost of this event from CNPA. For further details please call Lyn Matheson.
